The Victorian Nights volunteer programme is an excellent opportunity for people to learn new skills, meet new people, and be part of an exciting and dynamic event happening in North Norfolk. As an Artist, I am extremely excited to be part of Victorian Nights Festival. My work predominantly explores Memory, and I am very interested in Museums and how they preserve the history of a generation in a collective memory. I will be taking photographs of some of the events during the festival including ‘A Walk Through Time’ in Sheringham and the ‘Victorian Family Day’ in Wells .
Today I took some behind the scenes photographs from the last blogging programme in Cromer to show how hard the volunteers have been working to put this blog together. We have been mind-mapping ideas for articles and researching Victorian Norfolk before learning the ropes of WordPress. It has been a lot of fun and we will continue to blog leading up to, during and after the festival. Look forward to meeting more of you during Victorian Nights!

Hello – just wanted to say how lovely the photos looked – well done! MaidinSheringham
Me too! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to take part in something so new and exciting. Fingers crossed all us bloggers can get together sometime soon and share our experiences of the festival and its build-up. The photos of the blogging session are a great idea
